Growing up as an Army Brat and then joining the military, the only life that I ever knew and felt completely at home in, was the military.

I joined the Reserves as a Medic in Halifax in 1979. I liked it so much that I joined the Regular Force in 1980 as a Medic.

In 2016, after almost 14 years of service, I had to leave the Canadian armed forces following back and neck injuries sustained while practicing my profession as an aeronautical technician.
